LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
The Leadership Development Program (LDP) is a structured participatory process that develops people at all levels to improve the level of leadership and management skills to face challenges and achieve measurable results. Individuals work in teams on real workplace challenges and receive feedback and support from facilitators and local managers. It is comprised of four trainings in the period of 6 months with 6 weeks to 8 weeks period in two trainings. As far as AMA aim is to build up capacity of its executive leaders from provincial chapters. Hence, AMA was planned the LDP training for seven provinces and Participants were from AMA provincial team (Provincial Director, Deputy of Director and Finance responsible person). Consequently, Afghan Midwives Association (AMA) with financial support of Norwegian Committee for Afghanistan (NAC) and technical support of Management Science for Health/tech-Serve project (MSH) conducted LDP training in Kabul, for 28 midwives from Kabul, Samangan, Heart, Badakhshan, Kandahar, Balkh, Nangarhar.
