4TH ANNUAL CONGRESS

The Afghan Midwives Association (AMA) aims to promote and strengthen the profession of midwives and the role of midwives to ensure wellbeing of the women and their families in Afghanistan. The AMA was established on May 3, 2005. Since that time the association has grown and achieved much success. During the three past years the AMA has achieved several important goals. Our membership in Kabul and the provinces continues to grow as news of the association spreads. Now AMA has planned to celebrate the 4 th annual congress with support of the USAID- funded Health Services Support Project (HSSP)
